Well the main reason for me doing this site is because I am going to meet Jeremy on 2nd June 09 so I thought it would be good to have a page about it on the site. I am meeting him at Meadowhall as he is signing copies of his new book. I have seen him once before which was in September 07 I got to go to see his TV show.
For anyone who has never been to a Jeremy Kyle show here is what happens. We had tickets for the 2 o clock show you don't find out what the show is about til you get there. We had priorty tickets so knew we would definatly get in to see the show. We was at front of queue so first in. Everyone gets searched as they go in and bags get searched phones should be off or handed in to staff, I think mine was just on silent. after being searched you wait in big waiting room for everyone else to be seached it gets packed and a bit boring waiting round around but you get told what topics will be on the show and told to join in chearing or booing and not to laugh which can be easyer said than done especially with some of the people that go on. Luckily they arn't too strict on laughing. The topics was DNA results and request for lie detector. Finally we got took to filming studio and got shown where to sit. I was on very back row in middle I was hoping to stay there as I hoped to get to shake Jeremy's hand if they did that opening but we all had to move up so I was 2nd seat in from left so if they did that opening I wouldn't of got to shake his hand. but instead he came out of the door to my left so I was close to him. Well first the crew was talking to audience then Jeremy comes out and takes over. He tells every one to vote for him in National TV awards as he was in short list of nominations (sadly didn't win though) He was talking with audence around 20 minutes and seemed quite funny. Then he was waiting for them to start filming so stood in doorway where he would be coming out of and shook the mans hand who was next to me so I put my hand out to him and he shook it.
Show starts first is DNA results I can't remember it in detail but there was some arguing and Jeremy telling them to be quiet and that its his show which was good. In adverts its like normal ad break time so not enough time to do anything in first break Jeremy wasn't ready when the music came on like it does on TV so had to run back and sit down ready. The guy was the childs dad. Then another break as the next guests are not in the studio ready so had to go to studio. This one wasn't that good no arguing or anything. Jeremy said the intoduction wrong first time so had to do it again.
Overall it was good to see how the show is done and be in audience it was an average show not one of best I've seen and not one of worst. It is a long day with traveling and waiting round but if you like the show it is good to see it filmed.
Will write how book signing goes on Tuesday. I'm planning on getting photos and videos and talking to him but it will depend on how many people go and how shy I am but my friend mite be coming so if she does I mite not be as shy. I'm definatly asking him if I can have photo of him and one with him no matter how shy I get. At least thats what I plan.
Book signing
Today was book signing day I wasn't expecting many there but there was a few hundred people and the shop sold out of books at end. Me and my friend got there about 4pm ready for book signing at 5 and there was already quite a few in queue so I decided to get money for book straight away and get in queue. A man went down queue asking if people wanted their name in the book and put a post it note thing in with the persons name. WI was 80th in queue , couldn't see a thing and was board waiting. After about 45 minutes waiting the queue started going down a bit. Still couldn't see Jeremy. Finally got to front of queue out side shop and in next queue in shop. Finally we could see Jeremy. I had planned to talk to him and get photos, but every one was being rushed. We did get to have photo took with Jeremy one photo with him. I got quite a few more of Jeremy though. My friend shook his hand and had quick word with him and I was getting my phone ready for photo of me with him and Jeremy was calling me to hurry up. After we had books signed I stayed in the shop getting more photos and trying to dodge one of staff who was telling people to move away. You was aloud to get a few photos then had to move but we and few others I heard him tell someone not to believe every thing internet says about him. I will put some photos from today on the photos section of this site the best ones and the one with me. Over all glad I went but was disappointed about not getting to talk to him, but glad I got to get more photos. My friend commented that he wasn't smiling for photos but he was probably getting board of doing same thing so many times.
